Random With a Purpose

An annual dance event, involving collaboration between dance choreographers and myself at UCSC in which I arranged, produced, and mixed music to bring the choreographer's vision to fruition. I did this with the help of an ensemble that I created and performed live with. I also managed the musicians and their work.

Final Message

I composed and produced original, mixed-orchestral music for a 2D platforming and puzzle solving game.

I also recorded, synthesized, edited, and post-processed SFX, as well as implemented those audio assets in Unity using FMOD.

Magic Mousters

An exercise in recording sound effects for a mini-golf game. One of my first attempts at creating diegetic SFX through this method, having mostly synthesized SFX in the past. Also my first attempt at music scoring, rather than production. Collaborative effort with another audio designer and musician.

Five Stars in the Dark

For my first foray into SFX design, my main responsibilities included sound design and audio mixing for individual levels. More specifically, the bulk of SFX recorded were car sounds, which were done through compiling free-to-use sounds only, as well as recorded sounds from a team member's vehicle.
